About Me​

Julian "Tiger" Lewis graduated from Berklee College of Music with a degree in Contemporary Writing and Production. During his time at Berklee, Julian crafted countless shows with a dozen different artists in which he strengthened his skills in band leading, live playback, programming, orchestrating, playing keys, and of course his first true love, drumming. Tiger is best known for creating electric and cinematic experiences that elevate the artist's original record.
He has most notably played drums + run playback for two national tours with MARIS. He programmed/MD'd VINCINT's set at OUTLOUD Music Festival 2024. He recently played at NAMM with both Damoyee and the Roella Oloro Trio. He also performed as a drummer with Harlem Rapper Billy Dean Thomas at 2024 Boston Calling as well as 2023 GLD FSTVL. He has performed twice as a drummer and MD at Lollapalooza: in 2022 with Aiida, and in 2023 with Tyler Christian. He is energetic, professional and enthusiastic about his work. ​

​Personal Statement:
As a touring drummer I work to be as helpful off stage as I am on stage. I am always staying up to date and preparing to be quick on my feet as a playback engineer and my versatility as a drummer is what allows me to focus on high energy performances, with dynamics, finesse and attention to the details both musically and visually with how I dance, smile, and flow with the audience.

Listening to my team members/leaders allows me to learn so much from them and adapt quickly to new challenges. This respect we move with off stage is reflected in our performances and the joy we can bring to the audience.

I bring over 8 years of experience as an arranger for rhythm, horns, strings and even BGVS to my work as a programmer. Combined with my passion for sound design and EDM, I always work hard to maintain the style and personality of the artist while bringing their show to soaring heights!
